Job description

Elliott Aviation, a leader in aircraft solutions, has an exciting opportunity for an Aircraft Structures Technician for the Avionics department at their facility in Moline, IL. As an Aircraft Structures Technician, you will be part of a team working to provide outstanding products and services to our customers. This hands-on position is responsible for inspecting, servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting aircraft airframe and structures systems, composite, and components.

Responsibilities of this position include:

• Support structural repair and modification projects
• Interpret and read aircraft blueprints/modification drawings
• Accept ownership of assigned structural projects
• Follow all policies and procedures including the Quality Control Manual for Elliott Aviation.
• Ensure safety and security of customer equipment, parts, and aircraft during all structural repair and modification phases
• Record and maintain accurate and timely aircraft and project documentation
• Maintain safe and clean work environment
• Support, maintain, and comply with all Federal, OSHA, State and local regulations, and Elliott Aviation’s Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies and Processes
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements Include:

• Airframe & Powerplant Certificate preferred
• Ability to attain & retain AOA badge or Airport requirements
• High school graduate or equivalency degree required
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of FARs 43, 65, 91, 135, 145
• Aircraft maintenance experience preferred

Salary & Benefits

The wage scale for this position ranges from $22.00 to $44.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications and performance. Specific compensation for this role will be determined by several factors including but not limited to; minimum and preferred qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience and location.
