Job summary

gategroup is seeking a Transportation Supervisor at Miami International Airport in Miami, FL. You will supervise drivers and assistants, coordinate between the kitchen and transportation teams, and ensure timely flight catering operations while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.

Reporting to the Transportation Manager, you will manage dock activities, maintain equipment readiness, and drive performance improvements within the unit.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• Over 2 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume food production or catering environment.
• Strong leadership, training and coaching abilities with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise drivers and driver assistants and coordinate services between kitchen and drivers.
• Assign team drivers to flights daily and obtain control sheets.
• Ensure dock departures meet schedule and equipment is ready.
