Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is seeking a Dock Supervisor at Miami International Airport to oversee dock operations, supervise a team of dock agents, and ensure safe, efficient loading and unloading of aircraft cargo and baggage.

You will coordinate with ground crew, enforce safety regulations, and manage records for operational efficiency. The role requires prior dock lead and dock agent experience, strong bilingual communication when needed, and flexibility to work various shifts,

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Minimum 1 year as a Dock Lead.
• Minimum 1 year dock agent experience.
• Knowledge of the Aviation Industry.
• Ability to access information on IPads/Tablets, Computers and Mobile Devices.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligibility to obtain credentials (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs) as applicable.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise dock operations, loading/unloading aircraft cargo and baggage.
• Lead and train a team of dock agents; conduct evaluations.
• Ensure safety and security procedures are followed.
• Coordinate with flight operations and ground crew for efficient workflow.
• Oversee maintenance of ground support equipment.
• Implement efficiency strategies to reduce turnaround times.
• Inspect cargo handling for regulatory compliance.
• Resolve dock operation issues promptly.
• Monitor productivity and report on dock performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
