Job summary

gategroup is seeking a skilled supervisor to oversee dock operations, coordinating between our kitchen teams and flight drivers to ensure timely, safe, and compliant service. You will supervise drivers and assistants, manage shift staffing, and monitor performance to maintain high-quality service for airline partners.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and proven ability to drive efficiency while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years supervisory experience in high-volume food production or catering environment.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Ability to manage 30+ hourly employees and ensure safety compliance.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Bi-lingual in English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise drivers and driver assistants.
• Coordinate services between kitchen and drivers on the dock.
• Monitor safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure on-time departures and correct aircraft assignments.
• Prepare management reports (attendance, HAACCP, labor) as required.
• Plan manpower and shifts to meet scheduling needs.
