Job summary

Goldbelt, Inc. is seeking an Operations Training Specialist Lead to manage GTIMS data and coordinate training.

The role interfaces with HARM/SARM, updates ARMS, and oversees class schedules, grade books, and training plans to ensure mission readiness and compliance with Air Force instructions. Ideal candidates bring scheduling software proficiency, strong MS Office skills, and 1–2 years of related experience, plus interim Secret clearance; Top-Secret preferred.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in scheduling software and systems with strong MS Office skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with crew members and internal teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to think critically and make decisions quickly, especially in time-sensitive situations.
  • Minimum 1 -2 years of related experience.
  • Must have at an interim Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Possesses a Top-Secret clearance
  • Experience working in a Flying Squadron/Group/Wing Stan/Eval office is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with HARM and SARM to update ARMS as required.
  • Build, review, and update student/permanent party records and grade books per AFMAN 11-202V1 and AFMAN 11-2MDSV1.
  • Coordinate schedule of classes and exams with external agencies to ensure training requirements are met.
  • Perform gradebook checks daily, monthly, and quarterly.
  • Prepare and execute training plans for approval and scheduling.
  • Schedule ground training events in line with unit policies.
  • Provide weekly updates on flight readiness and performance to leadership.
  • Coordinate with scheduling to maximize training opportunities per AFI.
  • Provide daily tracking of upgrade and continuation training for the unit’s supervisor and weekly summaries.
  • Assist in development of new curriculum and syllabi for aircrew and ground training.
  • Generate required reports/forms.
  • Ensure high-quality contract performance and monitor compliance.
  • Provide daily task guidance to team members as needed.
  • Maintain relationships with squadron leadership and address concerns with the Program Manager.
  • Assist with onboarding new team members and ensure training resources.
  • Provide guidance on PWS task requirements and mission considerations.
  • Manage time-off requests and ensure coverage.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly status reports to PM and customer.
