Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to provide technical and sales support within the Trace Aviation customer base. The role interfaces between customers and the repair station, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills to deliver effective repair capabilities and services.

You will develop relationships with customers, identify new business opportunities, and coordinate proposals, quotations, and orders while leading and mentoring junior sales staff.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service, communication, leadership and relationship-building skills are required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; aviation/tech background is a plus.
• Experience in sales, customer service, business development or aviation/MRO is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and sales support to Trace Aviation customers.
• Act as liaison between customers and repair station to address technical questions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Identify new business opportunities to increase revenue and propose repair/service solutions.
• Conduct sales visits, meetings, and presentations on-site and off-site.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and sales orders; track opportunities.
