Job summary

Precision Aviation Group seeks a Technical Sales Manager to provide technical and sales support to Trace Aviation customers and to bridge between customers and the repair station. This role requires strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to convey the company’s products, services, and repair capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in sales, customer service, business development, aviation, MRO, or a related field.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred, with experience in a technical or service-oriented environment and aviation/FAA Part 145 strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key technical and sales resource for the Trace Aviation customer base.
• Liaise between customers and the repair station to address technical questions and customer needs.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Understand the company’s products, services, repair capabilities, and customer needs.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase revenue.
• Recommend appropriate repair, parts, and service solutions based on customer needs.
• Conduct sales visits, meetings, and presentations on-site and off-site.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and sales orders.
• Maintain regular communication with customers regarding products, services, capabilities, and repair requirements.
• Build a network of referrals and maintain accurate sales and customer documentation.
• Track sales activities, prospects, and business opportunities.
• Attend conferences, trade shows, customer meetings, and other business development events as required.
• Achieve revenue and profit goals.
• Lead and mentor Customer Service Representatives and junior Sales staff.
• Assist in training and developing Customer Service and Sales personnel on products, services, repair capabilities, and customer service expectations.
