Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Aircraft Technical Records Clerk for our Upington facility. The role focuses on ensuring accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance of aircraft maintenance records, including logs, component history, and airworthiness directives.

You will collaborate with engineers and QA to maintain airworthiness and operational integrity. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and at least two years in technical records.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in technical records management, preferably in aviation.
• Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance terminology and documentation.
• Proficiency with computer systems and software for record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage all aircraft technical records including maintenance history.
• Ensure accuracy and legibility of maintenance documentation.
• Process and file work orders, inspection reports, and service bulletins.
• Track compliance with airworthiness directives and regulatory requirements.
• Assist engineers and inspectors in reviewing technical records.
• Prepare reports on record status and identify discrepancies or missing documentation.
• Archive and retrieve historical records as required.
• Support audits by regulatory authorities and internal quality assurance teams.
