Job summary

Summer internships are 40 hours per week for 10 weeks, usually late May to early August. Onsite work is required unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise Quality systems and procedures to ensure documentation complies with current practices.
• Conduct Government and FAA audits and investigations and report corrective actions.
• Gather and analyze performance data (scrap, rejections, defects, rework) to support process improvements.
• Perform audits in production, functional areas, or across suppliers.
