Job summary

Textron Aviation, based in Wichita, KS, offers a 2027 Internship in Program Management. You will work directly with the Program Manager/Assistant PM Engineering, helping manage a new aircraft development program and its transition to production.

You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and suppliers to ensure performance requirements and customer expectations are met while supporting schedule and budget reporting. This is a hands-on internship with real project experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Aviation, Engineering or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing development program schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate tasks across internal disciplines and outside suppliers.
• Support cross-functional team in schedule and budget development and performance.
• Prepare program status updates for management and external audiences including customers, suppliers, FAA and others.
• Assist in preparation for reviews on the overall development program for the Senior Leadership Team.
