Kelly® Engineering in Carolina, Puerto Rico Airport is seeking an Aviation Superintendent (Terminal) for a direct hire. The role will lead operations at a major airport fuel depot, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance and operational excellence in a dynamic, 24/7 environment.

Requires a strong leader with 10+ years in operations and bilingual English/Spanish. The position offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, with a focus on safety, efficiency and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Engineering degree preferred.
• 10+ years of operations management experience in technical/industrial environments.
• Leadership experience in unionized settings; training compliance and workforce performance.
• Bilingual English and Spanish required.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality, regulatory compliance and environmental standards.
• Expertise in fuel or industrial QA/QC programs, inventory and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing safe and efficient operations at the airport fuel depot with compliance to standards.
• Manage depot staff, conduct shift briefings, provide hands-on leadership.
• Handle inventory control, safety and environmental requirements, support audits.

Location: Carolina Puerto Rico Airport

Salary Range: USD $90,000 + by experience plus comprehensive benefits

Shift: Administrative - with work schedule flexibility as required to support 24/7 operations, requiring occasional after-hours engineering coverage.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Engineering degree preferred.

• Minimum 10 years of operations management experience in a technical or industrial environment, preferably involving fuel depots, tank storage, into-plane operations, or similar fuel handling operations

• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience , including managing teams in unionized environments, overseeing training compliance, and driving workforce performance.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

• Strong knowledge of safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and environmental standards , including airport regulations, industrial waste management, emergency response, and incident management.

• Expertise in fuel or industrial quality assurance/control programs , inventory management, and reconciliation processes.

• Strong analytical and technical skills , including KPI development and analysis, technical reporting, automated control systems, and operational performance monitoring.

• Experience managing operating and capital budgets (Opex/Capex) , implementing audit recommendations, and ensuring effective financial and operational controls.
