Qualifications

• Master’s in Engineering with 2+ years or Bachelor’s with 4+ years in pharma/biotech manufacturing.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects across Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, Maintenance, Automation, Regulatory Affairs.
• Hands-on experience with sterile injectable products and packaging operations.
• Expertise in process investigations, validation, GMP compliance, deviations, CAPAs, change controls.
• Strong technical writing and data analysis; English and Spanish language skills.

Salary: $45.00 hr - W2

Shift: 8hrs shift | Administrative - with work schedule flexibility as required to support 24/7 operations, requiring occasional after-hours engineering coverage.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering with 2+ years of experience or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 4+ years of experience supporting commercial pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or combination-product manufacturing operations.

• Experience managing engineering projects and leading cross-functional initiatives involving Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, Maintenance, Automation, Supply Chain, and Regulatory Affairs.

• Hands-on experience with sterile injectable products, prefilled syringes, autoinjectors, pens, or other drug-device combination products, including packaging operations such as labeling, cartoning, inspection, and packaging-line troubleshooting.

• Demonstrated expertise in process investigations, root cause analysis, process optimization, equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), validation activities, GMP compliance, and quality-system processes including deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and nonconformances.

• Strong technical writing, data analysis, and problem-solving skills, with experience authoring technical reports, protocols, risk assessments, investigations, and engineering documentation, while supporting process improvements, technology transfers, and equipment upgrades.

• Strong technical documentation, written and verbal communication skills ( English & Spanish)

The Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for lead process optimization, troubleshooting, validation, and engineering initiatives supporting commercial manufacturing, packaging, and combination-product operations in a GMP-regulated environment. Apply advanced engineering principles to resolve complex technical issues, implement process and equipment improvements, manage projects, and support qualification and validation activities while ensuring compliance, product quality, and operational excellence. Collaborate across multiple functions to investigate deviations, analyze process performance, develop technical solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing and packaging systems.
