Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Brunswick is seeking a RS Structural Mechanic III to perform assembly and riveting of aircraft structures in a team-based environment. You will read blueprints, adhere to prints and specifications, and ensure conformance to quality standards while maintaining logs and assisting teammates.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 4 years of related structural assembly experience, with Solumina and Smarteam experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4 years related structural assembly experience.
• Experience with Solumina and Smarteam preferred.
• Q-stamp preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform assembly and riveting operations on aircraft structures.
• Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches to determine procedures.
• Rivet structural members using portable riveting guns and drills.
• Align and assemble parts using jigs, fixtures, and fasteners.
• Maintain logs and records (MIR, DMTs, PCOs).
• Instruct teammates and resolve install problems while following SOPs.
