Job summary

Gulfstream in Brunswick, GA is seeking a motivated Structural Mechanic III to perform a range of structural assembly tasks on aircraft components. You will read blueprints, set up and rivet assemblies, and ensure conformance to specifications; you may also guide junior teammates.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 4 years of related experience. Solumina and Smarteam experience are preferred, with Q-stamp welcomed. Second shift with a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4 years related structural assembly experience.
• Experience working with Solumina and Smarteam preferred. Q-stamp preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform assembly and riveting operations on detail parts and structures to meet requirements.
• Read work orders, blueprints, lofts and operation sheets to determine sequence and hole patterns.
• Instruct and assist other team members in interpretation of drawings and orders.
• Maintain logs and ensure conformance to specifications and safety standards.
• Align and assemble parts using jigs and fixtures; perform alignment per blueprint specs.
• Perform repairs per DMT/MRR/PCO and coordinate with leads to resolve issues.
