Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Structural Mechanic 3 to perform complex assembly, fitting, drilling, and riveting on aircraft components in a fast-paced production environment.

You will read blueprints, inspect work, maintain logs, and collaborate with teammates to ensure safety, quality, and on-time deliveries. High school diploma or GED and 4 years of structural assembly experience required; Solumina and Smarteam knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4 years of related structural assembly experience.
• Familiarity with structural aspects of new installations (STCs, ASCs) preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints and using precision tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex structural assembly, fitting, drilling, and riveting operations on aircraft.
• Fabricate, install, and repair sheet metal and structural components to engineering specifications.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, drawings, and engineering changes.
• Inspect completed work for conformance to design and customer requirements.
• Maintain logs, records, and job charging accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment using 5S and Lean principles.
