Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Structural Mechanic II in Brunswick, GA. You will safely assemble and rivet aircraft structures, read blueprints, operate tools, and maintain accurate records to meet strict quality standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of related experience; Solumina and Smarteam familiarity is preferred. Expect multiple shifts and up to 25% travel. English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years related structural assembly experience.
• Experience with Solumina and Smarteam preferred.
• Must read, write, speak English.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures and varied drilling and riveting operations.
• Rivet structural assemblies using all required tools and inspect for conformity.
• Read blueprints and operation sheets to determine sequence and hole patterns.
• Maintain logs and records (e.g. MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs).
