Job summary

CAE Inc in Orlando (Parksouth) is seeking a Simulator Technician I to perform preventive maintenance on simulators and related systems, support diagnosis, and carry out pre-flight and post-flight tasks.

You will work with the maintenance management system, participate in training, and assist with refurbishment and hardware modifications while traveling up to 10% and ensuring high customer service.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent related training.
• 1 year of simulator-related experience in electronics/avionics, automated systems or computer networking repair and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret prints and schematics; basic soldering and circuit board repair skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform preventive maintenance tasks on simulators and related systems.
• Assist in diagnosing and correcting routine problems on simulators.
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight tasks on designated simulators.
• Use the maintenance management system to record and track maintenance activities.
• Assist with refurbishment and hardware modifications and quality management compliance.
• Provide customer service support and travel as needed for field duties.
