Job summary

Garmin Ltd. is seeking a full-time Aviation Services Representative 1 at its U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area.

You will provide basic technical customer support for Aviation Services products, handling calls, emails, chats and web posts promptly. You will escalate issues when needed and follow up to ensure resolution. You will develop product knowledge for Garmin Pilot, Aviation Database Manager, and FltPlan Go, and work with resources and databases to assist customers with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong interest in Garmin aviation products
• Proven customer service experience
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
• Professional, team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Good time management and follow-up skills
• Reliable and punctual attendance
• Proficient with navigating multiple screens

Responsibilities

• Resolve basic customer inquiries via phone, email, chats and social media.
• Determine best aviation service options and assist with subscriptions, including payments, renewals and refunds.
• Provide excellent customer service to build confidence in Garmin.
• Develop knowledge of Garmin Aviation products (Garmin Pilot, Aviation Database Manager, FltPlan Go).
• Develop knowledge of resources, systems and databases.
• Elevate field issues to drive product improvements and timely resolutions.
• Monitor client/server alarms to ensure websites and applications perform as intended.
• Consult frequently asked question topics for common questions.
