Job summary

Garmin International is seeking a full-time Aviation Services Representative 1 at our U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. You will provide basic technical customer support for Aviation Services products, handling phone calls, emails, chat, and web posts in a timely manner.

The role also escalates issues for resolution, documentation, and follow-up when necessary. Responsibilities include resolving inquiries, assisting with subscriptions and payments, and developing knowledge of

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated customer service knowledge.
• Proficient verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must exhibit professionalism, be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others.
• Excellent time management and follow-up skills.
• Demonstrated reliable and predictable attendance.
• Demonstrated computer skills and ability to navigate multiple screens.

Responsibilities

• Resolve basic customer inquiries and requests for Garmin products and services via phone, email, chat, and social media/web formats.
• Assist customers in selecting aviation services and processing subscription payments, including investigating auto-renewal issues and refunds.
• Provide excellent customer service to foster a positive experience and reflect Garmin's support quality.
• Develop knowledge of application support for Air Services products (Garmin Pilot, Aviation Database Manager, FltPlan Go).
• Maintain knowledge of resources, systems, and databases.
• Receive and escalate field-related issues to drive product improvements and timely resolutions.
• Monitor client and server alarms to ensure websites and applications perform as intended and assist teammates as needed.
• Consult on FAQ topics for commonly encountered questions.
