Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of aviation safety or SMS experience.
• Experience in a leadership role.
• Pass background check and pre-employment drug test.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee safety across Avflight's FBO network.
• Maintain, enhance, and standardize the Safety Management System (SMS).
• Identify operational hazards and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with FAA, OSHA, NFPA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Lead and oversee incident investigations and reporting with root cause analysis.
• Promote a positive safety culture across locations and communicate best practices.
• Monitor safety KPIs and provide insights to leadership.
• Develop and implement SOPs and safety training programs.
