Job summary

Swissport is seeking a Safety Advocate to lead Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental activities at the station. The role focuses on reducing injuries and aircraft damage, acting as a subject expert for processes and systems, and supporting the Station QHSE Manager.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management.
• Team-oriented with minimal supervision.
• Flexible schedule incl. evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Strong verbal and written communications.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the station risk register is completed, maintained, and followed.
• Ensure safety and quality audits are conducted, reviewed and closed.
• Assist in developing audit plans for the station.
• Conduct risk assessments as directed and ensure completion.
• Coordinate safety and quality initiatives and reporting.
• Review injury trends and direct corrective action.
• Coordinate safety promotion and quality initiatives.
• Provide periodic progress reports on safety programs.
