Job summary

dnata USA is seeking a Safety Manager to lead development and promotion of a proactive safety culture across our operations. You will coordinate with Corporate Safety and local management to implement the One Safety program and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will conduct hazard analyses, lead training, audits, and investigations, and drive corrective actions. A Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in aviation are required, with FAA identifications or authorizations preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in the aviation industry.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
• FAA/Airport identification/seals or authorizations on file.
• Flexible to work variable shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and promote a safe work environment in line with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with Corporate Safety and local management on safety programs.
• Lead hazard/risk analyses and identify mitigation methods.
• Oversee training evolution from classroom to on‑the‑job and recurrent.
• Perform audits, report findings and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and customer requirements.
• Investigate near misses and incidents and drive root-cause action.
• Maintain safety records and participate in safety board meetings.
• Provide direction and training to support IMS and SMS programs.
