Job summary

Piedmont Airlines is seeking a Safety Department Intern to support the Ground Safety team in maintaining safety and compliance across the airline. The role offers exposure to all safety functions and the chance to learn industry standards while assisting in data visualization, reporting, and manual reviews.

Starting at $16.93 per hour, interns gain hands-on experience and travel privileges within the American Airlines network as part of a dynamic team committed to safety and service excellence.

Qualifications

• One year of progress towards a degree with a major or minor in safety or aviation/aeronautical science.
• Excellent communication and Microsoft Office Suite skills required.
• Organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, ability to multi-task, problem solving skills, and the ability to set and meet deadlines.
• General knowledge of CFRs, FARs, OSHA regulations, and procedures regarding airline safety.
