Job summary

PrimeFlight in United States, Virginia, Richmond is hiring Ramp Agents to load/unload baggage, guide aircraft, and support ground operations on the ramp. You will work with a team to ensure safe, efficient handling of luggage, cargo, and mail and coordinate with airline staff across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must hold a valid driver''s license.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.
• Able to access and interpret information with electronic devices.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Eligible for credentials/clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs as applicable).
• Flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload baggage, cargo, and mail onto aircraft with accuracy.
• Operate ground service equipment such as pushbacks, tugs, belt loaders, and baggage carts.
• Read load sheets, baggage tags, and cargo labels.
• Marshal aircraft to and from gates.
• Ensure safe movement of aircraft on the ground.
• Follow safety protocols and airline regulations.
• Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Lift heavy objects in varying weather conditions.
• Communicate with team members and airline personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Inspect equipment and report issues.
• Follow SOPs for ramp operations.
• Adapt to changing flight schedules and priorities.
• Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
