Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is hiring a Ramp Agent to load/unload baggage and cargo, guide aircraft to gates, and support ground operations on the ramp. You will ensure safe, compliant handling of aircraft while coordinating with airline personnel in a fast-paced team environment.

The role requires physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds, flexibility to work various shifts, and compliance with FAA/TSA/Port Authority credentials. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically with devices.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, as applicable).
• Airlines operate 24/7; shift flexibility including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail onto aircraft with accuracy.
• Operate ground service equipment (pushbacks, tugs, belt loaders, baggage carts).
• Read and analyze load sheets, baggage tags, and cargo labels.
• Marshalling aircraft to and from gates.
• Ensure safe movement of aircraft on the ground.
• Follow safety protocols and airline regulations.
• Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Lift heavy objects in varying weather conditions.
• Communicate effectively with team members and airline personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Report equipment issues and perform routine inspections.
