Job summary

National Airlines in Orlando seeks a Quality Assurance Auditor to join our Quality Assurance department, reporting to the SR Manager of Quality. The role focuses on SMS participation, internal/external audits, and compliance with FAA regulations.

Ideal candidates hold FAA A&P with appropriate ratings, possess 3–5 years in aviation maintenance or inspections, and can travel up to 40% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate high ethical standards in the workplace.
• Must read, write and understand English.
• Must hold FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe & Powerplant ratings.
• Must possess a valid passport and be able to work abroad.
• 3–5 years in aviation maintenance, inspection or records experience.
• Working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (14 CFR).
• Must pass a 10-year background check.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the Company's Safety Management System (SMS) per the SMS Manual.
• Performs internal auditing and evaluations.
• Audits external maintenance providers – fuel service providers.
• Researches FAA publications (8900s, DCT, Advisory Circulars, Regulations).
• Performs Risk Analysis and Risk Control Development.
• Performs Root Cause Analysis.
• Updates computer databases with audit results.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
