Leopardo Construction’s aviation group in the United States is seeking a Project Manager I to oversee small-sized projects and assist Senior PMs on larger efforts. You will drive organization, scheduling, budgeting and implementation while coordinating with clients, A/E teams and Leopardo self-perform groups.

The role emphasizes preconstruction support, subcontracts, permit coordination and rigorous schedule control, with opportunities for growth and a discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/experience
• 3+ years as Project Engineer; field exp is a plus
• Reading blueprints is required
• Knowledge of scheduling/estimating; Viewpoint is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support preconstruction efforts; assist budgets/estimates and bids
• Prepare general conditions budgets and cost tracking
• Coordinate permits and submittals; ensure insurance/certificates
• Negotiate and draft subcontracts with leadership
• Develop and monitor master schedule; identify critical path
• Prepare cost estimates; engage Leopardo teams
• Manage RFIs and change orders; maintain logs
• Coordinate meetings; distribute minutes
• Support site coordination with superintendent
• Review closeout docs and warranty issues
• Monitor job costs, invoicing and draws
• Build client/architect/subcontractor relationships
• Participate in industry groups and business development
• Assist in recruiting and training staff
• Contribute to cross-functional teams
