Leopardo Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Aviation Market, offering exposure to all facets of construction. You will support project management, estimating, and field operations while participating in Leopardo’s rotational training plan to grow toward estimator, project manager, or superintendent roles.

The role emphasizes learning through hands-on projects, strong collaboration with stakeholders, and structured training designed to build a long-term construction career

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering or architecture is required or equivalent training/experience.
• Prior project engineer internship or experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings.
• Understanding of scheduling software, project controls, and cost management.
• Familiarity with BIM, LEED and Design/Build subcontract language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist project management with scheduling, budgeting and documentation.
• Support detailed master schedule tracking and monthly progress updates.
• Coordinate permits, insurance and bonds as needed.
• Review submittals, shop drawings and RFIs; maintain logs for approvals.
• Support BIM, LEED and coordination between design and field teams.
• Assist estimating staff with bid analysis, quantity take-offs and cost proposals.
• Support field operations with safety plans and QC processes.
