Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT) is seeking an Aviation Project Engineer to contribute to planning, design, and delivery of aviation infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include coordinating multidisciplinary teams, leading design efforts, and supporting client relationships, with potential leadership opportunities in a growing aviation practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET‑accredited program.
• Professional Engineer license in PA or OH or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity after employment.
• 8 to 15 years of progressively responsible aviation engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Support or lead the design of aviation infrastructure projects (airfield, landside, utilities, site development).
• Prepare calculations, plans, specifications, reports, and bid documents.
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, agencies, and subconsultants.
• Lead or contribute to scope, schedule, staffing, and budgets; ensure quality control.
