Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer license in PA or OH, or eligible by reciprocity.
• 8–15 years of aviation engineering or airport design experience.
• Airfield projects experience (apron, taxiway, runway).
• Knowledge of FAA Advisory Circulars and airport design standards.
• Experience at commercial service airports.
• Pavement evaluation and pavement design experience.
• Experience supporting federally funded airport projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support design of aviation infrastructure projects.
• Prepare calculations, plans, specs, reports, cost estimates.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, and subconsultants.
• Lead design development and quality-control activities.
• Assist with scope, schedule, staffing, and budgets.
• Attend client meetings and support business development.
• Mentor developing engineers and staff.
