Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Denver, CO is seeking a Project Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to join our aviation infrastructure team. You will support project delivery, assist with plans, estimates, schedules, and QA activities under supervision.

Ideal candidates are pursuing ABET-accredited civil/architectural engineering or construction management degrees, have completed about 60 hours, are comfortable outdoors, and able to inspect construction activities across varying conditions.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required for ABET-accredited program.
• 60 hours toward civil/architectural engineering or construction management degree by Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support aviation project teams in infrastructure or facilities programs.
• Assist in developing or reviewing project plans, estimates, schedules, and procedures.
• Coordinate operations to ensure policy consistency.
• Observe contractor work and conduct QA activities under supervision.
• Perform field work observing construction contracts and activities.
• Coordinate with field lead and project manager on tasks.
• Record daily diaries and payment reports per contract requirements.
• Participate in internal quality checks and review designs/drawings.
