Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Denver is seeking an Estimator/Scheduler Intern for Summer 2027 to contribute to schedules, estimates, and financial tracking on active projects. This role supports the full project lifecycle, from forecasting through closeout, in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have completed 60 hours toward an engineering or construction management degree, prior internship experience in construction, and basic data-entry skills.

Qualifications

• Must have completed 60 hours towards an engineering or construction management degree by Summer 2027.
• Prior internship experience in construction preferred.
• Basic computer skills to enter data into spreadsheets or databases.

Responsibilities

• Support development, maintenance and monitoring of project schedules, forecasts, budgets, risks, changes and performance metrics.
• Perform estimating, quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, forecasting, reporting and financial tracking activities.
• Assist with production of Master Schedules, schedule reviews and change management.
• Maintain project records, validate information, prepare reports and analyses.
• Collaborate with project teams, clients, contractors and suppliers to support project execution and continuous improvement initiatives.
