Job summary

Stantec seeks a Civil Aviation Project Engineer to join the Infrastructure team in Florida. You will contribute to airside and landside airport projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, and related civil works, within a collaborative office environment.

The role emphasizes FAA design standards, client interaction, and coordination of design staff. Offices may be in Tampa, Orlando, Miami, or other FL locations.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering and Florida PE licensure or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 6+ years of airport infrastructure and transportation design experience.
• Strong knowledge of FAA design standards and funding processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and post-design efforts on aviation projects including pavement, drainage, utilities, and landside/site work.
• Coordinate and direct technical staff to produce high-quality deliverables.
• Review plans for conformance with scope, standards, and FAA requirements.
• May seal and take responsibility for own projects and communications with clients.
