Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Civil Aviation Project Engineer to join the Infrastructure group in Florida. The role focuses on airside facilities such as runways and taxiways, with duties spanning design, coordination, and client interaction across multiple Florida locations including Tampa, Orlando, Coral Gables, and Jacksonville.

The candidate should have a BS in Civil Engineering, be a licensed P.E. in Florida or able to obtain within six months, and bring 6+ years of airport infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• P.E. license in Florida or ability to attain within 6 months.
• 6+ years of experience in airport infrastructure and transportation design.

Responsibilities

• Design and post-design efforts on aviation airport improvements (pavement, drainage, utilities, landside/site).
• Coordinate and direct technical staff to develop deliverables.
• Review plans for conformance with scope, standards, and FAA design requirements.
• Possibly review and seal own projects.
• Interact with clients.
