Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Aviation Project Manager to lead and deliver airport infrastructure projects across Florida, from small general aviation airports to large hub facilities. The role supports the Florida Aviation group within our Infrastructure team and may be based in Tampa or other Florida locations.

You will manage project scopes, budgets, and resources, coordinate with clients, and guide design and construction activities including airfield pavements, CIP programs, and FAA AIP/grant

Responsibilities

• Manage airport projects and coordinate with airport clients and stakeholders.
• Understand CIP projects and planning needs.
• Prepare scopes of work, fees, milestones, and team responsibilities.
• Coordinate design deliverables and cost estimates using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Prepare grant paperwork for FAA AIP and State programs.
• Provide guidance to Resident Engineers during construction.
• Approve contractor pay estimates and lead discussions.
• Lead preparation of proposals and qualifications statements.
• Support marketing efforts and client service.
• Mentor team for high performance.
