PMA Consultants is seeking an organized Assistant Project Manager to support the San Francisco International Airport cargo facility relocation. You will help manage scope, design, permitting, budget, schedule, and documentation from planning through closeout amid an active airport environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant project management or project coordination experience in commercial, industrial, aviation, or similar capital projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related technical discipline required.
• Experience with design, permitting, construction, commissioning, turnover, and closeout processes.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, documentation, and multiple concurrent action items.
• Experience in active airport environments with strong stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project controls and documentation (scope, deliverables, actions, decisions, risks, milestones).
• Coordinate design and permitting; track comments, submissions, approvals through resolution.
• Assist with project financial management (budgets, forecasts, commitments, changes).
• Organize meetings; maintain agendas, minutes, decisions, follow-ups.
• Coordinate interfaces with cargo operations, facilities, IT, security and other stakeholders.
• Support construction activities: RFIs, submittals, procurement, contractor coordination.
• Assist with commissioning, turnover, record docs, and closeout.
