Job summary

PMA is seeking an organized Assistant Project Manager to support a cargo facility relocation at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). You will help manage scope, design, permitting, budget, schedule, documentation and stakeholder requirements from planning through closeout.

The role offers work-from-home options and a pathway to senior levels. Relevant aviation or logistics project experience is preferred and the environment is fast-paced and airport-based.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management or coordination experience on capital projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience with design, permitting, construction, turnover and closeout processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project controls and documentation including scope, milestones, risks and decisions.
• Coordinate design and permitting reviews with stakeholders through resolution.
• Assist with project budgets, forecasts, commitments and changes.
• Organize meetings with agendas, minutes and action follow-ups.
• Interface with cargo operations, facilities, IT, security and other stakeholders.
• Support construction administration, RFIs, submittals and procurement coordination.
• Assist with commissioning, turnover, and closeout activities.
