Job summary

PMA seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support a cargo facility relocation at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). You will coordinate scope, design, permitting, budget, schedule, documentation, and stakeholder requirements from planning through closeout.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field. This position offers an active airport environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management or coordination experience in commercial/aviation projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related discipline.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and documentation in active facilities.
• Strong stakeholder coordination in complex airport environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project controls and documentation including scope, milestones, and decisions.
• Coordinate design, permitting, and approvals through resolution.
• Assist with project financial management and forecasting.
• Organize meetings and track action items; manage RFIs and submittals.
• Support commissioning, turnover, and closeout activities.
• Collaborate with cargo operations, facilities, IT, security, and stakeholders.
