Job summary

Garmin International in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an Intern - Aviation Program Specialist to gain hands-on training supporting aircraft performance and load planning activities. You will learn to assist with configurations, inquiries, change requests, and weight & balance updates while collaborating with cross-functional teams and developing industry knowledge.

The role offers exposure to customer support, testing, deployment, and technical documentation tasks within Garmin's aviation product

Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in Aerospace, Business or related field.
GPA of 3.0 or higher (as a general rule).
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Must be team-oriented with a positive attitude and ability to collaborate.

Responsibilities

Learn and apply program management fundamentals including communication, scheduling, scope tracking, and customer support activities.
Assist in resolving, tracking, and routing customer issues or requests.
Provide support for Garmin aircraft performance and load planning products.
Participate in testing and deployment activities for Garmin aviation products and solutions.
Assist with technical writing and preparation of aircraft performance or load data materials.
Support project management and program coordination activities.
Assist in investigating operational events and identifying potential root causes under guidance.
Support special projects as assigned.
