Job summary

Fairweather is seeking a Ticket Counter Agent to provide exceptional customer service at the airport counter for 45,000+ passengers. You will handle ticketing, check-in, baggage, and inquiries with a focus on safety and efficiency in a demanding environment.

The role requires experience in administrative and customer-service roles, with the ability to obtain a SIDA badge and lift up to 70 pounds. Training on company procedures and coordination with multiple teams will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen, national, or asylee status.
• Minimum of three years of experience in an administrative position involving direct interaction with the public.
• At least three years of experience in a customer service-related capacity.
• Must currently hold, or be able to obtain, a state-issued Airport Secure Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge.
• Willingness and ability to lift and move items weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Stand for extended periods and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries related to aircraft, flight details, and scheduling matters.
• Check baggage for destination and guide passengers to gates for boarding.
• Make public announcements regarding arrivals and departures.
• Prepare, print, and distribute manifests and boarding passes.
• Verify passenger identification per requirements.
• Coordinate specialized law enforcement passenger authorizations as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of passenger manifests.
• Communicate current information to flight crews, Aviation Logistics Operations staff, airport personnel, and customers.
