Job summary

Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI) seeks a Procurement Specialist to support Technical Advisors by sourcing parts, processing orders, and negotiating with suppliers. You’ll drive cost reductions, ensure on-time deliveries, and maintain data in AvSight, Salesforce, and AMS.

Aviation purchasing experience and strong Excel skills are required, with travel up to 10%. The role emphasizes proactive communication and collaboration to optimize procurement for Trust accounts, JSSI Inc., and JSSI Parts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5 years in aviation procurement
• Experience in business aviation purchasing and inventory control
• Ability to communicate with internal/external clients effectively
• Strong problem solving and fast-paced environment adaptability
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data reporting
• Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

• Reduce costs and provide a one-stop supply chain solution to Technical Advisors
• Respond to requests from Technical Advisors promptly and professionally
• Source parts for AOG, RFIs, and requisitions
• Create RFQs and negotiate prices with suppliers
• Create and track purchase orders for Trust accounts, JSSI Inc., and JSSI Parts
• Maintain data in AvSight, Salesforce, and AMS
• Provide status updates to Technical Advisors and 3rd party customers
• Ensure timely delivery and compliance with quality and life limits
• Handle RMAs/returns and follow company policies
