Job summary

Signature Aviation in Jacksonville is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day base operations for private aviation guests, crews, and residents. You’ll oversee teams, uphold safety, and occasionally perform frontline duties near aircraft and equipment.

The role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays, hands-on leadership, and a strong focus on guest service, SOP adherence, and seamless terminal operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years aviation or cargo operations experience preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks and airport badge requirements.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid state driver’s license; CDL may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead base operations safely and ensure SOP compliance.
• Manage Airside Experience and Guest Experience teams.
• Interview, onboard, train, and develop team members.
• Schedule duties and conduct shift and team meetings.
• Provide on-the-job training and ensure training completion.
• Handle guest service escalations and regulatory compliance as needed.
• Operate ground service equipment and assist ramp operations.
