Job summary

Jet Linx in Omaha is seeking a Flight Coordination Specialist to manage and review all operational aspects of every Jet Linx booked flight. You will serve as the primary liaison for base teams and fleet management, ensuring timely responses and accurate flight details.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years in aviation, with Part 135 experience preferred. You will collaborate on flight planning, weather assessments, and arrangements such as reservations, de-icing, and fuel logistics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of aviation experience required.
• Previous Part 135 experience with high volume and/or large fleet size required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for Jet Linx L Base Teams and Fleet Management on operational questions.
• Review bookings for runway, NOTAMS, curfews, and facility needs.
• Obtain and confirm airport reservations and permits at private airports, for events and/or FAA slots.
• Coordinate with crew on stops, customs clearances, and aircraft logistics.
• Coordinate FBO assignments and notify day before.
• Review aircraft assignments and address operational concerns with Fleet Management.
• Distribute crew briefings and support flight releases.
• Maintain awareness of weather impacts and communicate with teams.
• Manage daily Operations Review and day-of open items.
• Assist pilots in Flight Planning and fuel planning as needed.
