Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Springdale, AR is seeking an Inspector to perform Fluorescent Penetration Inspection (FPI) on engine cases, ensuring conformance to work instructions and repair scopes. The role requires a HS diploma and 1 year of experience, with US citizenship preferred for program access.

This is a second shift, onsite role with responsibilities spanning documentation, collaboration with engineering, and quality control.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma (or equivalent) with 1 year of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information per program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Inspect internal case structure using inspection equipment for this method.
• Prepare and complete required inspection documents and reports, and stamp work instructions.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations as needed during inspection.
• Review work instructions, repair operations requirements and blueprints.
• Use inspection tools: FPI booth and related fixtures.
• Assist Level III QE in developing specific test techniques.
• Comply with DOT and FAA anti-drug and alcohol misuse policies.
