Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Springdale, AR is seeking an onsite Fluorescent Penetration Inspection (FPI) Inspector. You will perform non-destructive testing on engine cases, document inspections, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure conformance to work instructions.

Must have HS diploma or GED with at least 1 year of relevant experience and be a U.S. Citizen. FAA safety and DOT policies apply; occasional collaboration with engineering and quality teams is required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent) with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• U.S. Citizenship required for access to program information.

Responsibilities

• Inspect internal case structure using FPI inspection equipment.
• Prepare and complete required inspection documents, reports and stamping of work instructions.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, quality lab, operations and materials as needed.
• Review work instructions, repair operations requirements and blueprints.
• Use inspection tools including FPI booth and related fixtures.
• Assist Level III QE in developing specific test techniques.
• Comply with DOT/FAA anti-drug and alcohol misuse policies.
