Job summary

VSE in Independence, KS is seeking a Customer Account Leader I to manage multiple customer accounts within our aviation MRO operations and provide quality service based on industry data and aircraft maintenance documentation.

You will translate technical reports into quotes, coordinate with operations and engineering, maintain records, and communicate with customers via phone or email to ensure timely turn times and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of relevant/technical work experience.
• Basic computer operating skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple customer accounts in a dynamic MRO environment.
• Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and technical MRO tools (PowerBI).
• Basic math skills.
• Dependable with excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Manage repairs of multiple units for customer accounts through the shop and quote customers via phone or email.
• Translate technical data from shop reports into quotations.
• Track units to meet advertised turn times.
• Quote/RFQ items for customers.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with aviation customers and understand MRO needs.
• Serve as main point of contact for inquiries and ensure timely communication.
• Maintain recordkeeping for special pricing and purchase orders.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and quality assurance.
• Adapt to customers’ needs and learn applicable service bulletins and ADs.
