Job summary

AerSale, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, test and document new products and support operations within the aviation MRO space. You’ll work with sales, business development and customers to solve design problems and ensure reliable, manufacturable solutions.

The role involves creating validation folders, performing stress/FEA analyses, tooling design, and reporting. Proficiency in SolidWorks and LabVIEW is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
• Minimum 2 years of MRO experience with aircraft components preferred.
• Experience producing prototype designs and working with manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Create Equivalency Validation Folders for new products.
• Produce engineering reports for customers when required.
• Assist Quality in warranties and root cause analyses.
• Design tooling and test fixtures aligned with OEM data; work with servo valves and actuators.
• LabVIEW programming for complex projects as needed.
• Perform stress/FEA analyses to support product development.
• Apply GD&T to facilitate inspection and manufacturing.
• Review designs for engineering rigor and completeness.
• Write documentation for new product introductions and customer specs.
• Interact with customers to clarify design intent.
