Amentum is seeking a Mechanic I Machinist (AD) NAMCE at NAS Lemoore to inspect, repair, and overhaul aircraft structures and powerplant/fuel systems. The role requires CDI qualification within 90 days, and duties include troubleshooting, compliance with manuals, and equipment calibration.

Shift work is required and US citizenship is necessary for credentials. Candidates must have 3+ years of O-level maintenance experience and hold an A&P license or military rating.

Qualifications

• 3 years O-level aircraft system maintenance experience.
• Knowledge and use of special tools/equipment required.
• Shift work is required.
• A&P License and/or Military rating this position.
• CDI qualification and potential qualification paths.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service F/A-18 powerplant and fuel systems per publications.
• Apply technical knowledge to diagnose malfunctions and restore operation.
• Work with ground support equipment and related maintenance manuals/drawings.
• Participate in required daily/weekly training and maintain PPE compliance.
