Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking a Program Manager to lead a team of certified instructors, supervise daily training activities, and ensure delivery meets client needs. You will develop, modify, and maintain program courseware and assist in certifying flight training devices as required.

Responsibilities include performance coaching, staffing optimization, and collaboration with DOS/DOMS to approve certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; aviation/business preferred.
• 3 years related experience or training in aviation/training.
• Current pilot and instructor certificates for all program aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily training and checking activities of instructors and scheduling changes.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and performance appraisals for instructors.
• Ensure compliance with FlightSafety policies and conduct disciplinary actions when needed.
• Recommend merit-based salary changes within budget.
• Coordinate with Scheduling Specialist to stabilize instructor schedules.
• Review staffing and propose changes to DOT/DOMT and Center Manager.
• Evaluate and approve new instructors for certification; train as needed.
• Educate instructors on using technology and effective training methods.
• Maintain knowledge of program aircraft, courseware, and regulatory developments.
• Liaise with customers on training needs and expectations; coordinate with stakeholders.
