Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking a Program Manager to lead a team of certified instructors within designated aviation training programs. You will ensure delivery meets client needs and oversee development, maintenance, and delivery of courseware and training devices.

The role requires coordinating with DOS/DOMS, evaluating instructors for certification, and driving program quality while maintaining regulatory compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent international degree required.
• 3+ years in aviation training or education field preferred.
• Current pilot and instructor certificates for applicable aircraft.
• Experience with scheduling and instructor coordination a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily training and checking activities of instructors and scheduling changes.
• Provide timely feedback, coaching, and performance appraisals to instructors.
• Enforce FlightSafety policies and conduct disciplinary meetings as needed.
• Recommend merit-based salary changes within budget and policy constraints.
• Coordinate with Scheduling Specialist to assign instructors to events.
• Interview and evaluate instructor candidates; support hiring decisions.
• Approve instructor certifications for program requirements and training schedules.
• Educate instructors on technology and effective training delivery methods.
• Maintain expert knowledge of program aircraft, courseware, and equipment.
